All first-year students and those living in residence halls without kitchens are required to enroll in the Mandatory Residential Meal Plan. 学生 can choose from three different spending levels based on their dining habits. The 膳食计划 selection deadline for the fall semester is August 31, 2024. Changes to the 膳食计划 for the spring semester must be made by January 18, 2025.

Designed for different dining habits, students can select from three plan levels–轻型，基础和高级. 取决于计划级别, each plan includes Mandatory Residential Meal Plan money to be used at qualifying on-campus dining locations. At $3,300 per semester (approximately $32 per day, 一周七天), its funds can be spent at any of the nine qualifying on-campus dining locations. Meal plan funds can be spent any time during the same academic year they are purchased.
The 基地强制性住宿膳食计划 also includes $300 per semester in 住宅餐饮, which provides added flexibility and variety. These funds can be used at specialty dining locations, 通过GET移动订购, 以及校园周围的自动售货机. Mandatory Meal plan funds roll over from first to second semester. 住宅餐饮 rollover until graduation.

This means you start the academic year with a starting balance on your BC ID, much like a debit card.
